Shovel in Waiting, Bloody Thumb

This is the first time in years I have been without two wheels.
The 66 is in pieces and getting all spruced up. I have 3 projects
all in various stages. So, while my pals are out riding, I am left
to my doings in the shop while I wait for all my bits to get back.
This is what I did this weekend to the motor, spruced up and
fixed a few things on the tranny as well.
This cost me a trip to the E.R in Culver City. I punctured a
nice hole on my left thumb.Got it stitched up in between a
beaten up, drunk, latin cowboy and a east side gang banger
with a busted hand.

1966 flh dying for the road.

My new air cleaner cover after some time on the lathe.
