Sturgis Adjacent

One of the best things about the Sturgis rally is the surrounding areas. From Rapid City, The Badlands, Deadwood and elsewhere, there are some really cool things to see. Here are some shot's a took while roaming the country side.

A very good friend let us stay in his cabin in Rapid City. It's a killer place up in the hills off 44. It was once a cabin for the railroad maintenance in the 20's-30's, now it is nicely updated, but not to much. No phone, no TV, no internets. Loved it!

Sunset in Wyoming

Lots of folks ride through Custer State Park, and if you are lucky you will run in to lots of Buffalo on the main road. What most don't know is that there are hundreds of miles of dirt road that run through the park that is at times open to vehicles. On this day, no Buffalo could be seen on the main road. About 10 or so miles in to the park on one of the dirt roads we came across a large group of several hundred. No one else around for miles. We hung out for a couple hours.. Awesome!

Little one came sniffn around.

Nice view
