Doings things in an odd order because of a deadline is weird. This motor was a super solid runner. It was already beefed up a little before I pulled it apart for the 4th time. Ported, polished heads, 40 over pistons, mild Andrews cam. 80+ incher. I'll be adding a mikuni carb this time around. Trans was the same, solid performer with proven miles, just pulled it apart, swapped some small parts, polished and re-assembled. Big horsepower is great, but I'm not building a drag bike. I prefer mild horsepower with solid longevity.
